killeramit said: Adorama still have the same price. u have to go to checkout to see the difference. But Adorama checkout is down right now. sucks Thanks for clarifying. The Adorama checkout is working now, and this really is a great deal. It comes to $358 shipped /w printer (after rebate, before CashBack) and should be able to sell the printer for $100-$150, giving a net of around $200-$250 for the camera and accessories. Very nice deal. If you collect American Airlines miles, you can earn around 4600 miles with this purchase (~1600 for the purchase and the 3000 miles for $250+ promo).
Ad0rama is now OOS/no-backorder on the $369 SL1 body. But they only bother to tell you that after you go through the entire checkout process, including credit card info.
I also tried ordering from Ad0rama for quite some time yesterday, but kept getting stung by their checkout servers hanging. Ad0rama truly sucks... They are on my no-business-with-this-company list.
I ordered an SL1 on Amazon. Same $369, also OOS, but they will backorder and ship it to me with no hassles.... If you want a great lens for the SL1 body, the canon 40mm pancake is perfect. Extremely small, sharp, and reasonably priced at $129 on sale (Amazon again). Super-compact, superb quality image maker for less than $500, and I can still mount all my other EF lenses on it.
Amazon also is offering the 2% rebate (in Amazon credit, much more useful than ad0rama credit imho) on both the lens and body...

The Target deal comes out to $500 with the gift card. Gift cards are slightly better than rebates, IMO. This is a great deal and VERY straightforward. If you use Redcard, it's an even better deal.
The same deal on Adorama sells for $350 (maybe), but it requires that you sell a printer on eBay and fill out a $400 rebate. It's FAR more risky than the Target deal. However, if you like risk, it's a better deal.
