Giving red for the name. Texan's don't BBQ over direct heat, we use indirect heat to smoke and flavor meat slow and steady.

Giving you red because Texans do grill. I'm pretty sure the OP said nothing about a smoker.

Its a steal at this price if the gauge of steel its constructed with is not paper thin.

And you base that on me saying Texans do grill? Quite the reach don't you think? I'm not even sure how you can make the connection but I assure you I don't have blue smoke coming off my grill.

OP posted a grill not a smoker. Read it slower and maybe you will understand.

Haha. Weird that on this page
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbecue_grill
It clearly states that a barbecue grill uses direct heat.

Cancelling out your red because he was right.
Wiki said: Barbecue (also barbeque, BBQ and barbie) is a cooking method and apparatus. In the United States, to grill is to cook meat relatively quickly using the direct heat imparted by a charcoal or propane fire, while barbecue is a much slower method utilizing the indirect heat imparted by the smoke of a wood-fueled fire, often requiring an extended period of several hours.

You need to work on YOUR comprehension and maybe you can figure it out. lonestarguy said "Giving red for the name. Texan's don't BBQ over direct heat, we use indirect heat to smoke and flavor meat slow and steady." and was about the name of the product.
He also didn't mention the word grill which got your panties in a wad.
The product name in the OP is a misnomer. A "BBQ pit" is a hole in the ground or a standalone smoker with indirect heat used for sloooow cooking and smoking meats and veggies.
I agree the OP is for a grill not a "BBQ pit" as named.

Nope, we were all too busy giving each other red and green to try and earn our pedant wings this sunny Monday morning.

Dang yankees must have bought them all. FYI, I am not a native Texan, started life out living 23 years in CT before finding my way to Texas and getting my first real BBQ.
