BeautySage customer service blows...

I've ordered a number of times from beautysage without any issue. And as a self proclaimed product junkie and former spa owner, I KNOW beauty products. They receive very high marks in my book for excellent product recommendations. The site is informative and easy to use. I am also in love with their Sage Point system.
My one star review is a warning to consumers regarding their customer service. I ordered a Riiva Microderm on July 2nd and then wrote a week later to inquire why I haven't received it- the customer service manager Ray Aziz was terse and unapologetic in his response to my email. The website states that they will ship in 1-3 days from ordering. I took into account that the holiday may delay the process for the length of time it took them to fulfill the order - yet it was 6days from ordering until the time they printed out a shipping label and then another 4 days before my package actually left the facility. According to UPS I probably won't receive the Microderm until Wednesday the 17th. That's over two weeks since I placed the order. Since the business focuses on beauty & wellness, I believe that fantastic customer care should be their number one priority. I spent 289.00 on a piece of equipment that I could have ordered from any one of a dozen sites. I chose to order it from BeautySage because I like the site & I've never had any issue with their shipping times. Ray ignored my concern, he was downright snotty in his reply (only apologizing after I pointed out that he hadn't). He didn't offer any kind of recompense for my wait- a couple of free samples or a few points would have sufficed. And overall, I ended our last communication feeling very much like this guy couldn't give a s**t about my experience, the fact that I had just spent nearly $300 on something that was slow-boating it through their shipping & handling process or whether or not I will continue to be a customer. His response and the length of time this has taken is just unacceptable.
The last email they sent me was about a new hair product line. I read through it as I always do and then placed my order from the products' company website, not BeautySage. I'll take the suggestions & I'll read the reviews from the BeautySage site, but it'll probably be a long time before they earn back my hard earned dollars.
Horrible Customer Service & Will Not Post Negative Reviews

I spent $35 on a night cream that was rancid (hard as a rock). I emailed them and they would not refund my money because it was past the 30 days. I did not open the box and jar until after 30 days. I explained it wasn't that I didn't like the product, but that it was defective. They wouldn't do anything.
The worst of all is when I went to leave an honest, but poor review of the night cream, they wouldn't post it. If you go to that product, it still shows 5 stars and no reviews? So they clearly only post positive reviews. I would not trust a site that won't let customers post honest reviews.

I have to say that Beauty Sage finally refunded my money - still an unpleasant experience and I will not do business with them again.

I've placed 2 orders with beauty sage. the first one I had to remind them to send my order. it took four weeks. the second time, they took the money from my account and never sent my order. nor have they responded to my request for a refund. I highly recommend avoiding doing business with this unethical company that takes your money and does not send the product. in most cases that's called theft!
