Gerber Ripstop II Knife
- Lightweight and streamlined - Sturdy pocket clip - Ambidextrous thumb stud
Super lightweight with a streamlined design, this handy pocketknife is ready for anything. The sturdy pocket clip keeps it in place until you need it. Quickly and easily deploy the 3" blade with a flick of the ambidextrous thumb stud. Stainless steel blade maintains a durable edge and sharpens easily. Frame lock keeps the blade locked in place until you’re ready to stow it.

The citizens are the same as the citizens in the USA...just trying to live. But we really need to make a conscious effort to buy US made. Every dollar we send elsewhere is a dollar lost. People need to realize that. That being said the knife is a very good price!

Unfortunately making a conscious effort to buy US made products is not working. It is difficult (at best) to even find food products which are not processed overseas. Some salmon and chicken are sent to China for packaging. Canned goods manufacturer -DelMonte has a few cans processed overseas as well. These are just a few examples. The major problem is the US based corporations which laid off (and continue to lay off) workers, so that they can save on manufacturing cost and do not have to deal with US regulations.
Another interesting story I found- Sweatshop in Italy caught fire. The facility was Chinese owned and had illegal aliens working inside. Why is this interesting? They can put the "made in Italy" on the label.
