Customer Service done right

Amazon is my favorite online retailer, but Crutchfield has somehow managed to find a special place in my heart after showing how customer service should be done. Calling their hotline will connect you almost immediately to an "expert advisor", who unlike most phone agents actually have enough power at their control to help make your day.

As a first time customer, they seem to have done extra checks regarding my billing and shipping information, which was nice (bill to one state, ship to another — which is unusual for me, but it was for a gift). They even offered free shipping for my items even though said promo only became available after I had already placed my order.

Now that the online retail space is growing somewhat, it's hard to tell if you want to deviate from your tried and trusted stores, but Crutchfield is one that I definitely will consider again.

Boston Acoustics se75 speakers

These speakers sound very good in the dash of my siverado. Can't beat the price and shipping for free. They even throw in the connecting wires. Can't be beat for half off original price. I'm ordering a second pair for the rear.

shopping through crutchfield is always a breeze. their advisors are very helpful if you don't know what you're looking for and if you're searching for car speakers, they make it painless. i've never had a bad experiece with crutchfield. some of the best customer service around.

Best support/service I have encountered in years

Had a couple of technical questions before the purchase, so contacted Crutchfield via on-line-chat and email. Online wait time < 5 seconds for a tech to answer, emails responded to very quickly too. Both times questions resolved promptly, competently and professionally. I messed up while placing an order and had to call in, my calls were answered in seconds, issue correctly in minutes by very helpful people, clearly not off-shored support that you get with some companies. I have purchased from Crutchfield catalog in 1980 and I am glad they have kept up their good work. I am sure that service and professionalism has a lot to do with it.
