Customer service is a hassle
When I received my table there was a chip on one of the edges with what looked like clear glue over the top. I assumed this came like that from the warehouse. I called Cymax and spoke to a guy in India with a heavy accent and hard to understand. He wanted all kinds of info and description of the piece damaged which I had to tell him 4 times. He wanted shipping, tracking and part numbers to the table also. Then he told me to take pictures and send to the company. I did all this and now today I get a response from them telling me to contact the manufacture directly. So I tried the # given and was on hold for to long to wait. I have left them a message in the box required for feedback and am waiting to hear. Talk about a hassle!!! I would never use this company again bc of the inconvenience they put their customers through.
Quick service, good 3rd party shipping service
Purchased a quality piece of furniture which was actually drop shipped from the manufacturer so no real 'cymax' interaction. However the price, coupons, ordering was the best deal and easy process on cymax's site. I received prompt emails from cymax and the 3rd party shipping company about my order. Within a week I had the item at my house being dropped off by a truck.
Pretty bummed with my recent purchase of a bedroom set, parts missing had to wait for days to get them, not easy assembly, drawers are completely out of alignment which seems to be a common issue. Avoid.
the worst store and shopping experience ever
I won't give 0 star if I could. I had worst experience with Cymax, I placed an order on Sep 26 and the order was promised to ship in the first week of Oct, and I did receive an email saying the order was shipped, but wait it was not (after I called them three times), even today (Oct 22), and they won't allow me to cancel it. They will charge you very expensive shipping and return shipping cost even they offer free shipping. 2) don't count on receiving the cashback, I have been using fatwallet cashback for more than 10 years and never had issues before, but this time I was told the link was not the right link. I felt very disappointed and still are waiting for my order, hope it will arrive by Christmas.
Lousy service. It's well worth it to pay the extra money to deal with another store. They lie, lie, lie, (if you can get anyone to answer the phone).

Please remove Cymax from your list of cashback stores. I ordered several thousand dollars worth of their products back in September. As of November 10th, I have only received one of the four products that I had ordered. (It's now way past their expected shipping dates.) I have tried to cancel the order online, but they rejected it saying that the items had already been shipped when in fact they never have. Their phone customer service is unreachable. I have tried many times for many hours to reach them. I have filed a BBB complaint, but they are just trying to drag the situation instead of resolving it. I have recently filed a chargeback with my credit card company on my purchase. I ordered from Cymax because I trusted Fatwallet, but now I know better. If you want my continued business, you need to remove Cymax from your list of cashback stores.

This seems like one of those places where maybe, in the end you might get the item you ordered and save a few bucks. But if you are looking for timely shipping/delivery, my experiences says look elsewhere. Instead, just do a pricematch with another store (in my case, diapers.com) and move along.
