Good way to $/ cash out GC? Dont want to me stuck in a OM maxperks type situation

Also anyone wanting to sell their previous GC @ discount?

rated:
I have bought two of these over the past year, on these Dell deals, and the picture is very good. It is a really good set. The only negative, at least on mine, was when I tried to hook up a Roku. I used their HDMI cable, which was thick and heavy, and it wouldn't take. Finally, I figured out that if I lift the cable up a bit the TV would recognize the Roku. Figuring it was a somewhat loose HDMI housing, I was looking into a warranty repair when I noticed the small-cable HDMIs. I picked one up off Amazon for a few bucks and, sure enough, HD Roku with no problems.

Can the gift card be rolled over for the purchase of a second TV where we receive another GC?

e.g.

1) Buy set for $247.99 and receive $150 GC
2) Spend $150 GC from step 1 on second TV and pay $97.99 and get another $150 GC
3) Spend $150 GC from step 2 on third TV and pay $97.99 and get another $150 GC

rated:
Yes, you can roll it over. But, if I remember correctly, there was a delay in receiving the GC so doing it bang-bang might not work.

It takes about 3 weeks to receive the promo code. Dell seems to run these deals frequently, however, this particular TV usually comes w/a $125 promo code. This is the second time in the past few years that they offer $150 and one other time it came w/a $200 code.

rated:
I can't find it on Google, but I recall reading that there are places that buy coupons for cash. Can anyone tell me some reliable sites to use. I want to get the TV but I have no use for the $150 coupon and rather get the cost of the TV down by selling the coupon code.

rated:
If you want to use more than a couple of GCs to purchase this (I had multiple $25 GCs), don't bother. You have to call the customer rep to have them consolidate the GCs, which takes days. "No, this is not ridiculous. This is how it's done!" - said Dell's CSR.

rated:
Also, if you are going to buy, make sure you sign up for the Dell Advantage plan. That kicks back another 5% in the form of a GC. Also remember to CashBack sites like here or Upromise to sweeten the deal.

rated:
Gotta wait 10-20 days on the GC so rolling them onto a second one of these TV's won't work...

rated:
Good TV, have one myself. And it looks like a great deal too.

rated:
Is the gift card promo still going on, or did I wait too long? I don't see it listed.

rated:
DOH, nevermind. I see it now. LOL literacy...

Can I use this as a monitor for work?

rated:
I bought one of these at the very end of May with the $125 gift card and the 5% Advantage gift card. The 5% ($12) arrived within days, but the $125 gift card just arrived yesterday, close to 20 business days after purchase. I even contacted Dell early on because the way the promo appeared on the receipt was so strange -- almost like a mistake. The set is great for its purpose (it's in our guest room but it's nice to have a semi-portable set to move around).

I ordered this TV yesterday and it is scheduled for delivery today!

You can, but the resolution would be very low.  For comparison, a Dell 30" monitor is 2560x1600 and this would be around 1280x720 which is probably fine on a 17" monitor but would look really bad on a 32", IMHO.

I got 2 of these and must say these are top notch.

Hook up to U-verse and PC all the same. Plus I have another 250 GC from Dell for the 50 inch version that i bought.

so I have $500 in GC's that I need to use by July 17th. I m thinking of pulling the trigger for one of these. Does anyone have any recommendations for what I can spend this on? I m looking for a larger TV than 32.

Can the Dell gift card be used to buy PS4?

i have this TV and it's really great..

will they send me two GCs if I ordere two?

rated:
According to customer service you can get up to three gift cards. You would need to consolite them into one via customer service if you want to use them all on one purchase.

rated:
Does anyone know which warehouse location this ships from?

rated:
To follow-up my own question, if you are on the east coast, ships from Harrisburg, PA.

Answered above. Yes, it can be. No, you wouldn't want it to be.

my current TV label said 230watt, and this TV is only 28watt... cool.

down grading 40" 1080P to this 32" 720P to save 87% in power.

  Nice,

don't forget to sell the 40" for $150 on craigslist.

Please excuse my ignorance here, but how does this 720P compare to 1080P?

I have not seen anything over the air over 720P.  But ppl can't really tell between 720P vs 1080P anyway.

rated:
1080p doesn't matter at all for screens smaller than 42".  So 720p vs. 1080p you won't see a difference.

Read the title and thought nothing in particular. I felt I must share this useless information with you and contribute to the discussion.

I called CS or support once and got Dehli instead of Dell.

I don't see the $150 Dell gift card mentioned anywhere on the purchase page.

Is the gift card offer expired?
