Coupons for godaddy are not working for renewals since several months ago. very aggressive and unethical strategy. moving services to competition now.

Have been having a 3 month tug-o-war with these guys... I have been a customer for over 7 years... Customer service is really in the toilet... :(

and WORSE is: even when You click-thru from their own PAID link (at the Top of Search Results in GOOGLE and other SearchEngines), where they are ADVERTISING outright that You CAN register a NEW .COM for only 99cents (apart from the usual and expectable ICANN surcharge), You go through the ENTIRE process and forms, and wade-thru ALL sorts of aspects and add-ons and things You don't WANT .. enter your CreditCard info, etc., and FINALLY click to check-out for the ON SCREEN (in ShoppingCart) PRICE depicted of $1.17 (i.e., 99-cents, plus ICANN surcharge) .. only to get a BIG RED WARNING upTop that THE offer you just saw Advertised by them 5 minutes ago, has expired and is no longer available .. and the Price displayed NOW in the ShoppingCart is 1000% MORE than what You had expected (altho, I imagine there ARE people who, after having gone through Papa's whole drawn-out form-process, just say-- OH the HECK with it! .. and just put-up with melting MORE plastic than they were led to believe they would) .. but, of course, it's what any self-respecting Consumer Advocate would readily recognize as: BAIT & SWITCH tactics.
