Also, it is a certificate and not a gift card. You must go in store to use it.

Yes seems in-store only and this caught my eye (bolded parts):

Not valid on gift cards, Lands' End products, Insane Deals, Levi's, Carhartt , baby gear and furniture, Two Hearts Maternity, Scrubology, fragrances, cosmetics, hot buys, deal flash, or everyday great price items.

Too bad they can't sell a voucher to travel back to 1995 when Sears was relevant.

The last 4 times I was in a Sears was because walking through Sears was the fastest way to get to the mall behind it.

This is so true. I do the same

They updated their Q&A;Can this be used for tool purchases?Michael T. asked 1 day and 12 minutes ago - 1 answer

  • Groupon Response:Yes, as long as they are purchased from a regular Sears store; as this Groupon is not valid at their Sears Hardware Stores.

Meh, cert instead of a gift card, lots of exclusions and limitations. Sears. Meh.

According to arribasn above, it can be used for tools, so grilling accessories are probably included also.

Bought a cablemodem from Groupon deals and have yet to receive shipment info and I ordered it on Sunday. Two days have gone by. I emailed them for information and let them know I heard of others with issues with Groupon. If I don't get it quickly I'll issue a chargeback and get one elsewhere.

I don't know if Groupon is legit anymore and have seen nothing but negative complaints from consumers as per various websites.

While price was right, service hasn't been too good so far and I am not expecting the best.

Has anyone used this at Kmart? Other sources says it can be used there, but doesn't say it on Groupon.

What a pain, store manager swore up and down they didn't accept them. I assured her she did. I tried scanning about 8 different things to get over $20 and none worked ( I was at $19.98 with a garden hose and a shirt). She finally scanned a $12 pepper shaker and that worked. I left the store in disgust without buying anything. No wonder they are going bankrupt. I'll have to try again this weekend. I wasted my entire lunch break on it.
