Don't expect your items in a timely manner, or reliable tracking info...or the correct items....
Over the holidays, this store ran several coupons for $50 off a $100 purchase, and that was a stackable offer with a free shipping code. I took advantage of it each time it ran, the first time being on Black Friday.
I am currently still waiting for two items I ordered over 3 weeks ago. I was charged for them the day after ordering, on December 11. I didn't receive a shipping notification or the items after a week, so I called customer service, who advised (falsely) that the items had been shipped but no tracking was available and they should arrive by end of week. That was almost 2 weeks ago - items still haven't been delivered (and they were a Christmas gift), but I did receive some other items that I didn't order, the day after Christmas, instead. Customer service claims they are sending the correct items, but again I haven't received shipping information and it's been 4 business days since I was advised the items are on their way.
Another purchase - a place setting of dishes - arrived with one item shattered. I had to make 2 phone calls to get a return shipping label emailed to me, and it was never sent. I decided to put the issue aside until after Christmas, and figured I would visit the brick-and-mortar to resolve it. A few days before Christmas a replacement bowl arrived, which was the correct resolution, but they never advised they were going to do this.
Also, another intended gift - a sweater - was ordered on December 13th, along with multiple other items. I received 3 packages for this one order, all arriving roughly a week after order. After reviewing the contents, and not seeing the sweater, I contacted customer service and was advised the item was out of stock and the order had been canceled. Again, no email advising this item wasn't available, and in fact, according to the website immediately after the phone call, it was in stock in the size and color I needed.
I will say that when you call, there isn't a long wait and you get a live person. They are always very polite and apologetic. However, after having to either call or email them 5 separate times for the 3 orders I placed - not one of them completed without a problem - it's clear to me they need to tighten up their processes.
Although I love Herberger's, I do get frustrated with their coupons and the exclusions. I have seen the price of products go up, right when a coupon is available to use. To me, a coupon should be additional money off an item, not the opportunity for the store to make even more money.
