I sure could have used this 2 weeks ago when I was pulling weeds!!

This tool is fantastic. Really easy to pull weeds and uproot them. You'll be surprised at how big some the roots are.

That's good to hear.  Was hoping for some feedback from a fellow member or members.  Anyone know how well it does in hard dirt?

I bought one of these a couple summers ago, and it's great! It does a fine job in hard dirt too since the tines are metal and help break up the dirt around the weed root.

Same price at my local super WalMart (W Central FL), plenty in stock. Shows up online @ $35 from 3rd party vendor only so YMMV.

My yard would be nothing but dirt if I used one of these....

Ordered 2: 1 for own home and 1 for child's house (where I seem to be the only one who notices the weeds haha), resulted in free shipping too Thanks OP, I had no idea this even existed!

Some of the reviews from Home Depot indicated the bottom is made of plastic and will break easily. My guess it that in hard dirt, it will break and you will need to take it back to get a refund.

Does anyone know if these will work on water willow .... In the water?

I assume the "lightweight" aluminum isn't so "sturdy" if used to pull brush. Beefier products for that (at a price).

rated:
yes it is plastic but it is sturdy and has a wide enough foot placement to not easily snap off or break. ive had nothing but good to say about it; cleared all the weeds in the front yard and back yard and it was a pretty big pile.

I got two of these from woot a couple of summers back.  If my yard is dry (which, since I live in a desert and don't have a sprinkler system, is its most common condition), this has a hard time going down far enough to pull roots.  But if I remember to run a sprinkler in the spot I want to work on, it works well.  I got two so my kids could each pull weeds at the same time without fighting over the fun tool. In practice, I'm the only one who uses it.

This tool really wasn't easy to use and sitting in my garage after few uses.  YMMV on usefulness.

none of the plastic I've tried can withstand my yard.  Those weeds chew them up and spit them out to the curve for trash pickup.

Even some metals are too weak for it.  Metal tools is my only choice.
