The logo chair was OOS at my local Home Depot, but the unbranded one was not. As also posted, WalMart sells a similar one for a couple bucks more, also free in store pickup there.

Well, HD called back to cancel my order. These are clearance items, so even though they are shown 14 available on the website, they are OOS in the store. Booooo!

I ordered 10 a couple hours ago, no callback from my store yet!

Lifetime? These chairs hardly last a year in most cases. I usually spend a little more and buy the ones made with thicker elongated metal tubing.

In for 3, thanks!

Not sold in San Diego stores

rated:
The store in our area ran out of them so gave us the different colored ones for the same price.

rated:
If Home Depot wants me to advertise for them they can give me the chair for FREE. Why do I want to pay $4 to advertise for them?? RED!

rated:
These chairs don't last very long, but I will take it anyway.

Are they the same quality and size? The HD brand has better reviews, and the dimensions indicate the unbranded is considerably smaller...

I thought it's obvious, but I'll be more clear.  Life time of the item.  Not your life time.  You sit on it, it broke and broke your tail bone.  You go hospital while the chair (item) go to the grave yard called landfill.  It's life time is over, yours probably not.

I hate buying stuff only last 1 year or less.  And I don't mean stuff like gas for the car that get used up.

Ordered 5 from my Home Depot.  They had 21.  Tell my boss about the deal.  He orders 5 later than me.  I get my email to come pick them up.  They ran out for me but they have boss's 5 waiting for him.  Huh?  I ordered mine before even telling him about the deal.  So, they gave me the $5 chairs for $4.  But I was there for like 30-45 minutes while they tried to figure it out.  Sadly, this is not atypical for Home Depot's online inventory to be way off.  Definitely not my first rodeo with them.

$tgt has similar chairs for 5-8

ok I'll do that

This is very practical for me!

If you have wrist or carpal tunnel issues, do not use these chairs. Might be very difficult to get up.

38 left in my area after my order of 4.  Thanks!

Which really means a weight limit closer to 100-150 lbs.  It might hold 200 lbs of something sitting absolutely still, but if you shift around, get up & down, it'll break pretty fast.

Curious to know how exactly you're using them to wear them out in a year. I've got chairs similar to these purchased from Sports Authority that are literally 10-12 years old and still going strong, but they only see use maybe 10-12 times a year. We put them out on the deck for crowded cookouts, occasional trips to the park, etc. They used to see heavier use when my teenagers were smaller and played sports that required us to sit sidelines for 10-20 games a season, but in my experience the bags wear out before the chairs. Maybe they just don't build them like they used to?

Anyone know of any similar chair with a limit of 350-400 lbs.? Price is not a consideration.

rated:
Great price at $4. These quad chairs aren't the best lasting as the frame/legs break easily. I think I had two of these from WalMart that broke after some very light use.

You can spend more for a nicer quality quad chair or spend less and think of them as disposable.
