Not the best chain, but the rewards are decent
Since they are "Independently owned and operated" (at least the Holiday Inns) you can get some wide variances in quality. But I have never had a hotel so bad I had to leave.
Their rewards point system is decent too. They run a lot of promos where you can rack up points without even staying at a hotel. |

Look for Free Nights
Intercontinental Hotels cannot be beat for service and elegance at their price point. When booking rates that include a free night (Ambassador BOGO) the cashback is paid on the value of the free night as well as the cash paid.
I'd stay here in major cities as long as I can afford it without the cashback, but we all know why we're here on this site.
