Probably the best price all year on these. 50% off comes up fairly often, but not 70%.

Theyre not the best quality (disregard the brand name. Valvoline doesn't manufacture wiper blades) and you WILL have to deal with Sears/Kmart's associates and stock availability issues eventually...Nevertheless, decent deal if you can get them. Wiper blades are sooo overpriced these days..

wish Amazon would pricematch. None available close by where I live.

and slowly they are taking away all the refills. Can only get at AdvanceAutoParts.

Right on time. Purchased one and another extra. Thanks OP

And that's really a shame, because we finally have blades that don't wear out -- beam blades. Classic hinge frame blades wear out structurally, not just in the rubber, so replacing the refills doesn't necessarily give you good results...but beam blades don't wear out structurally, you can keep replacing the refills.

As such, I buy these Valvolines and throw away the frame, I just take the refill and put it in my beam blades.

Thanks OP, I needed these.

Yup, thanks OP!

Will these ring up this price in the store too, if you don't buy online?

Auto Zone has them (at least as of a few months ago). They just keep them in the back and you have to ask for them. They can look up the correct refill in their computer too.

Anyone getting this and no way to add to cart?

I don't know cars, but aren't these blades already bracket-less? I thought you swap the whole unit, not sure why you are deconstructing anything?

Tried a couple different zip codes, and 24" and 19" blades appear to be OOS (I didn't bother with the configurator) for both Aquablade and Gold series. The Gold blades have middling reviews, so there's no reason to bother looking at Silver.

I bought some closeout bracketless blades from RockAuto a year ago and they were a good deal in quantity (4 cars) even with the nominal shipping charges. No rebate hassle and I didn't have to go out of my way to brave the Kmart experience.

Never mind must be sold out. Thought all products were doing it but one of the silver blades looks available. Ungh...

just came back from a Kmart, they are not on sale, regular price in the store. I guess I can try to get them to pricematch their online prices, but it was my lunch hour and it would probably take them a long time to complete the pricematch on 3 diff sizes, so I didn't get them.

The $6 "Aquablade" is bracketless. The $2.25 Silver Series and $3 Gold Series are old-fashioned bracket type.

Responding to someone's lament about the dwindling availability of refills, I was proposing that one could simply buy these and discard the metal part. If the Aquablade is good then maybe it's not worth the effort. I haven't tried the Aquablade. If you have an existing investment in expensive premium bracketless blades whose rubber is wearing out or a late model car with a newfangled wiper attachment style that the Aquablade doesn't fit then it might be worth the effort.

refill usually is much cheaper than the whole wiper blade. I guess it's not worth for them to carry it so they are removing it.

what's so special about your beam blade? I'm curious.

I bought both from Autozone and AdvanceAutoParts........ Autozone one is too small in width to go into my wiper frame. And why do you need to look up on the refill? it's made to snap off to the length you need.

Auto Zone sells regular Anco refills. They aren't snap to fit like those at Advance. Also I've had some problems with the snap to fit.

Thank you! Glad I didn't buy any Gold series refills.

Yeah, between the lower price (while taking almost the same amount of shelf space, inventorying costs, etc) and lack of demand, away went refills. That lack of demand was partly because people would rather throw stuff away and spend more money to save a minute, but also because the old bracket frame blades really did need to be replaced on a schedule similar to the rubber. People got used to skipping the pointless refills and got alienated from them, and the industry certainly isn't going to push less expensive refills now that there are actually blades worth using them in.

Nothing's really particularly special about my beam blades vs. other beam blades except that I've already paid for them. I don't buy new wheels every time I buy new tires, why should I buy new beams every time I buy new wiper rubber? I don't buy new headlamp housings every time I buy new bulbs. $2.25 worth of rubber or $12.25 with a new beam...$6 if Valvoline Aquablades are good.

Well actually, I do have one that I trimmed to precisely provide the best possible coverage of my windshield, but I could give up a half inch at the top where I never look anyway and use a stock size...

maybe it was my bad luck, but last time I ordered the gold series not realizing how little they curved. Most of the newer windshields are curved in a way that the gold and silver series cannot curve to.
