FYI this is the older non-backlit model.

Ah man, had this been the backlit one I'd give an unreserved "go in on this". Using the newer model as my HTPC remote and like it quite a bit, but the lack of backlighting makes it significantly less practical for media playing in a dark room.

Thanks for catching that, I forgot to put that in. The Camelcamelcamel and the Google Products are based on the backlit, I just missed putting it with the deal. Oops.

i agree, would totally think about getting if it was backlit

thanks though

Very important - Non-backlit!

Thumbs up on the device - - my backlit version works great! However, the backlight feature is essential for home theater/dark room applications.

I have the backlit version and it's great.

However, I don't see that feature as being essential.
It's a great keyboard/remote.

Non-backlit works fine while somebody else in the room is reading... More difficult in the dark.

We have the non-backlit version and love it. We always have some light in the room where we primarily use this device to control the media center PC. Beats fumbling a clunky wireless keyboard and mouse while sitting on the couch.

In for 1.

I have 2 of these already thanks to fatwallet. My regular tv remote isn't backlit either and I do just fine with it. Great keyboard for the price.

I tried to order one. I am stuck in "order" loop. Meaning I get to the final "order" button. I clicked it, I got auth request into my CC. Then I am looped back to "order" button page. I clicked it again, my CC got hit with another auth request.

I contacted CSR, they said if there is no confirmation email, they have no record (which I can understand), therefore they cannot help me.
They didn't offer to order it for me while they have me online with them. I guess they didn't want my $$$.

BTW, no firewall, no blocker, etc.  I am on Linux I just installed today, so super clean.

This keyboard was unusable with my middle-age eyesight and no backlight. I settled on a Logitech K400 keyboard with touchpad, and use that exclusively. It also works great with a Raspberry Pi or BeagleBone Black.

The Hausbell Mini H7 at Amazon looks like an interesting alternative, with touchpad, for $16 and prime eligible, 4-star with 448 reviews.

I also have the backlit version and use it all the time. I love it haven't had any problems or anything
