Expensive and refuses to pay cash back

I've worn Levi's jeans for for about 35 years, but I've pretty much given up on them lately, because while the price has gone up, the quality has gone way downward. Plus, the styles are mostly meant to appeal to children, so I, apparently, don't fit their demographic, anyway, these days.

I used to browse their online store regularly, but never bought anything. Besides the serious lack of information it provides, everything is more expensive then what I'd pay in local stores and BEFORE S+H. The one time I actually did find a good deal on the website, they refused to pay cash back, claiming that I clicked through an email, even though I didn't.

Needless to say, I probably won't be buying another pair of Levi's jeans for a while. I've read stories where Levi Strauss claims to be struggling in a changing market, but personally, I just think they're greedy.

Watch out if you buy 50% off online

Their product isn't always what they describe in terms of size, fit,and color. They have a clause where anything 50% off is non refundable. If you can't confirm the % off, they may try to say you bought at 50% off and deny your return. See my yelp review below:

If there was a negative rating, this store and it's manager today would deserve it.

I purchased 3 pairs of jeans online on black Friday at 40% off ($26.40). Two of the three pairs didn't match their online photos/description. When I came in to return them, the manager (9:22AM) asked if I knew their original price since they have a clause where any purchase of 50% off is non refundable. I didn't know the original price but I knew I bought them at 40% off since I found out about the sale through an affiliate site (fatwallet.com). He looked them up on his register and claimed the jeans were originally $58 and that I was only able to get store credit. I told him that his price was wrong; at the time of purchase, I was only given 40% off. He said the original price would not have come down from the $58 in his system. I let him know that I deserved a full refund and I was in a hurry. He wasted more time by calling their online customer service department to verify the original price. While he did that, I showed him the affiliate site on my phone stating 40% off on black Friday.

After he wasted the most of my time for a simple return on a slow Tuesday morning, he neither admitted a mistake nor apologized. I pointed out that he was wrong, his pricing was wrong, he wasted more time than necessary, and he handled my transaction in the worse possible manner. At that time, he said he was sorry to hear that in the most shallow tone.

If you own their stock, I'd take a closer look and dump them as I did years ago. Today pushed me away as a brand loyalist for thirty years. Their product and service is in the pits.

Very good quality clothing.

I got some great deals during Black Friday week. The clothes arrived and I am very happy with them. I just wish they had had more inventory in my (admittedly common) size.
