This is an awesome motherboard. Purchased it two weeks ago at Microcenter for $85. Pair it with the FX8320 processor at microcenter for $99 and you can't go wrong. Also: The Corsair Carbide Series 300R is well built, and has great cable management.

Same here. I actually bought an open box that they had there for $55.
The only thing that I didn't like about the FX8320 is the fan that came with it, very loud. Can any one recommend a replacement that is very quite.

So, seriously... in this day and age of computers, what is such an advanced board doing with PS/2 mouse & keyboard ports on it? I would rather have many other things like: 4 more USB ports, eSATA ports, even SPDIF/Optical audio or something somewhat current (or cutting edge) in that wasted space! I don't know of any good PS/2 keyboards or mice that I would connect to save me 1 (if combined wireless keyboard/mouse) or 2 USB ports.

Asus is marketing people who want to replace their faulty Motherboard. This board is great and efficient can replace almost any AMD motherboard. (except for mini-ATX and smaller. It may not fit in a small tower.) The PS2 ports are not expensive to make and were added for uses who still have old keyboards and mice. I do agree that PS2 ports are slow and have more problems such as no plug and play. This Motherboard already has a total of 8 USB ports, I really don't think we need anymore more USB ports, It would require more watts on power supply.
