Anyone have any personal comments on this particular tablet? I had an ipad air, but it was too large, and not worth the premium price in my opinion, so I returned it. Considering upgrading from my Tab 2 7", and wondering if this LG would be much of an upgrade....
I have one and love the size. The only con is the screen is dark. At 100%, it wasn't as bright as other screens on competing models, making me wonder if one could use this tablet outdoors on a bright sunny day.
I've had this tablet for several months (albeit the google play edition) and I absolutely love it. High build quality, fast and just the right size. At this price, I'm trying to come up with an excuse to buy a second one.

Some don't feel the need to spend $230 or more for surfing and watching videos. Which the Nook HD+ (with a 9" screen as compared to 8.3") is more than capable of doing. To the first poster I don't know your definition of "slow" but maybe you need to free up some space. It is known to slow when more than 75% full. Our Nooks (HD and HD+) have been awesome. $150 for 32GB HD+, $29 for 8GB HD and $60 for 16GB HD (all new), can't complain.
If someone wanted to give me this LG tablet I wouldn't say no, but I don't need one for $230.
