I bought one through a previous deal. The original firmware is okay. But the good news is that the developer of the Tomato Shibby Firmware uses the R7000 as his daily drive so you are basically going to get good development on alternative firmwares.

This is a hot deal (it's $10 cheaper thru Dell... considering gift card on another thread)!

this is not a bad router, I use 3 of these in different locations.... pair it with an intel 7260 wireless card and get about 40mb/s transfer.... not bad...

3 in the same physical structure? I thought the range on these was supposed to be good and beam forming was good at 2.5 Ghz as well.

I figured as much but had to ask anyway. You never know. Next on my list to purchase with Rewards.

ordered one anyway before the 15$ credit from AMEX expire.  It better performs better than my E3000 with this price.
