Others and I didn't get our rebate from PowerColor. Not a hot deal w/o the rebate.

My last Powercolor rebate came in just over one month from purchase. Have gotten several others from them, but never that fast.

Received 4/5 eggs based on 211 customer reviews on the product page.

I would not get this if you plan on watching 1080p mkv videos on a lcd screen or on a big screen tv.  The video lag is horrendous!

Have done 2 powercolor video cards recently, received both rebates.

+1.  I actually went back to my 4350 on my HTPC because of that.

Classic, but not my needs.

only has a benchmark in the low 200s....performance not expected

It's a great card to upgrade older PCs, PC's with integrated graphics that have failed, and PC's with low wattage power supplies that can't handle even a slightly higher performance video card. Fits in regular height slots or the half height slots found in small form factor computers. The HD5450 is faster than integrated video cards of systems just over three years old (including the first gen i3 and i5 machines). Being fan-less makes it an excellent choice for a HTPC!

The biggest problem is the total pita Powercolor rebate that requires you to complete a rebate form which means first registering on their site and having to wait for an email confirmation that can take a day to arrive. And then you have to log on to fill out the form selecting from a menu that seems to be designed to try to make you to select the incorrect model from the list. Then once the form is complete you once again have to have to wait for them to email you a special rebate number that you must put on your printed rebate form before mailing it in. No number on the form then no rebate for you. Powercolor has successfully established a new low for rebate submissions designed for failure. Without the rebate you might as well select another HD5450 card of which there are many.

Thanks, just had an Optiplex with one of these as an add-on and it died. Should be a nice drop in replacement
instead of swapping the entire machine out.

Will this work on my Commodore 64?
