I had paid 2900 and just got $8 back. Ridiculuous. Felt like they were donating money to a homeless !

Stay away --these guys are crooks

by brznzki on May 20th, 2014
Do not do business with Like other people have written here, they have so many dishonest and hidden fees that you are not getting a deal. When you see what they have charged on your credit card, it will be much higher than they initially told you, and you will *not* be able to contact them to straighten it out. But it is worse than that: we booked through them and right before our flight were told by the airline that they had never confirmed the reservation. But they did charge our card -- and more than they had initially told us. Were never able to contact them. Oh, but although we were never able to contact them about the money they effectively ripped off from us, they still send us advertising all the time. There are many horror stories on the internet like this about and Cheapo air are both owned by a company in India which is run by Sam Jain, who is a wanted fugitive with warrants out for fraud in the U.S. This is not a travel agency, it is a bunch of thugs. I would not be surprised to find out they are also selling credit card numbers and information that can be used in identity theft. For your own protection, do not use Onetravel.

Do NOT Use OneTravel Unless You Are ABSOLUTELY Certain

by rskurtz on January 8th, 2014
OneTravel has excellent prices, but if you have to cancel or change your itinerary, you can kiss your money goodbye. I bought a round-trip ticket for an excellent price. However, the cancellation fee was the same amount as the cost of the ticket. The change fee was not so bad, and everyone has to pay the difference in cost, but OneTravel has a requirement that you first have to buy another ticket (at a horrible price), before you can apply what is left of your credit. In other words, the credit was useless. I never took the trip. The money I spent was lost, completely. I don't recommend using this company, UNLESS you are 100% certain that you will not change any part of your booking. So, OneTravel has great prices, but if you need to make changes, their fees and penalties and policies will make you wish you had never heard of this company.

trap everywhere

by incoon on November 13th, 2013
first look, I got really good price for the flight I was booking.
Then it charges fees for lap infants, air plane companies do not charge that.
At last step, it tells me oops the price has gone up, cra....p, a total waste of time.

Deceptively Cheap will cost you DOUBLE, Stay Away

by LDMOVIES on September 26th, 2012
Worst site Ever. They do have cheap fares which I got lured in. What I didnt expect was it choosing flights for me totally different from the dates I Actually asked for.

I booked on a weekend and didnt get to check booking confirmation back when at work where I sued my work email. turns out it was 3 days different from my specified departure and arrival dates specified! Flight to vegas was $232 for 2 .. To rebook, it cost me ANOTHER $236 additional. DOUBLE! What a rip off. They got their pound of flesh but I will NEVER EVER use them again. and I'll make sure No one else I know uses them. Should have stuck with Expeedia or ORbitz. I never had this problem with them before. Im sure Ontravel would'nt stick around for long. With dissatisfied NEW customers all the time like me preaching how HORRIBLE they are.

IT might be my fault to expect their website to be easy and accomodating like Expedia or orbitz. It's my fault for expecting to find fares for the dates i wanted to fly in. Tahnks to to make me feel stupid for not checking if I'm actually getting the flights I asked for. Expensive lesson learned, courtesy of

Went through all the setup to book a flight. Ended up pulling the tickets from under me as "sold out". The actual airline's website showed no changes in flight availability. Requested a chose another flight, which happened to be higher priced than the exact one on the airline's site. Even with FatCash and a coupon code it was not a good deal. I would suggest you avoid OneTravel.

The site expounds big savings and lowest price BULL!!... A one way ticket from NY to Toronto on AA is at the time of this writing is 274. Most sites have this price One Travel bloats up the taxes to bring it up to 296 and a big 12 dollars discount!! Lucky me I get to pay 285 and they pocket the 11 behind all the lowest fair rigamarol. Does the internet have a legal policy regarding false and misleading advertising? They should be shut down and prosecuted. SHAME ON ONE TRAVEL I can't stand CROOKED operations that MISLEAD and RIP OFF the public

"Taxes" double price of hotel

by giftgiver on August 16th, 2010
Looking for an inexpensive hotel and was attracted to this search site because of some great discounts available ($15 off for FW members, $7.50 cashback, etc.). Concluded this site is a waste of time when a $38 hotel (1 night) has $32 taxes. After all the discounts, it's still more expensive than booking directly (~$6 taxes). is a waste of time!
