The worst online store to ever shop at!!!

I am a mum to a cute little son who turned 3 today. He loves super why so I decided with him to have a Super why themed party. I ordered for the party supplies from he PBS kids store 10 days prior to his birthday party. I got an e-mail that my order has been received and I a busy mum ( a physician who works round the clock) believed my order was in progress. 4 days to my son's birthday, I got a call from the lady in customer service telling me order has been on hold as my billing address is different from my shipping address. She wanted to confirm if this was accurate. I could not believe someone in America was calling me for something as dumb as this because, first, their website asked me if my shipping address was the same as my billing address ( an option that every online store would ask you) and I indicated no and put in my shipping address. I told her I meant what I put in there and at this point I would need them to expedite my shipment as they have for no just cause kept my order on hold and are just calling me. She said she could not do that unless I paid for expedited shipping for them delaying my order. I explained to her to pls work with me here as my son's party was in 4 days and I could not disappoint him. She refused to assist and then I said ok, no problem. That same night, I wrote the company an extensive e-mail to assist me make sure I do not get my son disappointed for no fault of mine. I did not get a response. I was then waiting for an expedited shipment I was forced to take care of and next day, I decided to check the status of the order and found out that the lady went ahead to cancel it without my permission. At this point, my head was ...
Any shoo, I called everyone and apologized and changed my son's party to Tue the following week ( 4 days from his party). Of course I had to explain this to my little boy. I went ahead to place another with this company again (I must have been out of my mind) and I paid for 2 days shipping. The next morning, I called the customer service lady for an update on my order and to confirm I would get it by Mon for a new party date on Tue and she could not assure me of that again. So, I said no problem but can my shipping method be changed to ground instead and she said no. I told her there is no point paying $22 on 2 day shipping that could not get my orders to me for my party so I am willing to continue business with u guys but I will again have to change his party date...so change to ground and she said she could not. At this time, I told her to cancel my order and she again told me she could not. I reminded her she was able to cancel my first order without my permission and now she could not cancel my second order placed few hours prior to my calling her. She insisted so I told her I wanted to speak with her supervisor...Up until now, she continues to tell me he is not available and I should be fine as she was later able to go ahead and cancel my order. She does not want me to make a complaint on her services and on the company's services but I felt other parents out there should have an idea of what happens with PBS kids store before making a decision to get stuff from there website. They are quite irresponsible and have no good customer service.
Our daughter has a friend who has RTS and only asked for a Daniel Tiger for her birthday. In ordering a $19 bear, PBS kids socked me with another $10 bucks for shipping and tax. The options were ground or second day. Ordering it on a Tuesday, I felt ground was a reasonable option. What they didn't make clear it that it was going ship "smartpost" which is a horrendous, overly long method of shipping that gets picked up by fed ex and then handed off to the postal service. So, now a package that should be shipping from Bolingbrook,IL (a suburb of Chicago, 28 miles away) to Chicago is going to take a week. Had this gone UPS Ground, it would have been ONE day. Had it gone Postal Service, ONE day.
But this abomination, has it picked up in Bolingbrook, delivered to New Berlin, WI (70 miles away) to be scanned the next day - and they can't get it to Chicago for three more business days (5 calendar days). This is insane. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I also forgot to mention to you that the products can also be found and other online stores including Amazon where your order placement and deliveries are better assured to avoid such heavy disappointments. Where your orders are not cancelled without your permission and knowledge.
