They make great products and do an excellent job of supporting enthusiasts. A few years ago I was on the board of a small, local car club. I inquired about getting some products as giveaways for our car show and they sent me two huge boxes of stuff.

That's awesome! I'm actually in a car club myself. We're starting to get a little bigger now, but it would be great to have some extra stuff around the garage.

How good is the scratch repair on this..or do you have a recommended product for clear coat scratch..not the paint..but the top layer

Curious about the wash n wax product. I use Meguiar's on the truck but never tried the wash n wax. Still doing each separately.

@ bigfathead - I've been using the Meguiar's ScratchX 2.0 that's included in this deal for a couple years now and I highly recommend it.  It's great for taking out small scratches and scuffs.  Sounds like it would be perfect for your situation.

You know what would be a really hot deal is if you bought me one thats in your area and mailed it to me for free

rated:
wow.... check online and it say not available for store pickup but I went to the store and they have about 5 of it mark $60. I asked them for price check and it ring up $30. Think I'll return it. $30 is not a good deal at all. I don't care for the organizer. I want the scratchX and the tire foam.

Yea, this is definitely one of those times where it's a better deal online than any other place. Since it's this price here right now..later on you might be able to find this same price other places too. You never know. Sorry about the luck though, man.

This does take the place of a good hand wax of your car, especially if it is a nice car, but have used product and I like it better than just a wash product.

thanks.  I was heading to Homedepot to pick up the Ridgid drill stuff too which I got at the $4 price instead of the last mark up $6, it's all good.  I always find Sears to be weird.  Their online and their local store are almost two separate entities and last I was told they don't match their own online price either.

So I was trying to return this thing. I waited for about 20mins and than the guy said there is a 15% restocking fee and he need to go get a manager. OMG. Had to wait for another 5 or 10mins (best not look at the clock). While he was gone I read the receipt and it said they could charge 15% restock if the purchase was more than 24hrs. Now I remember why I prefer online, 15 days surely better than 24hrs.

He came back and did the return, again he talked about restock fee and I told him about the 24hrs. He than ask if I purchase it online. Than he said I suppose to shop around before I make my purchase. Hmm, didn't know shop around is a requirement now. I thought it was only an option.

Knew it didn't feel right when I made the purchase. Sears is one of those stores my mental note said to stay away, BestBuy is another store. Always some complication with return. Funny on the receipt said "Satisfaction Guarantee" I guess they will charge me fees until I'm satisfy.

Any other store still charge restocking fee?

I don't think I've ever come across a restocking fee. Mind you, I don't shop at the Sears around here because I don't like the people that work there, and they probably have the same feelings towards me, LOL. They have bad customer service. That's horrible though, sorry it made it even worse on you.

rated:
When something like that happens and they start treating you badly start to act really angry and get loud. If there are other people around they will usually give you what you want because its not worth all the trouble for a little bit of money. Its worked for me before of course I'm pretty big and when I start getting angry and start yelling they will usually just back up and say let me see what I can do and they come back and say ok we will make an exception this one time.

It's really sad. Sears used to be one of the greatest places to shop. Now they are terrible. Most of their stores are sleazy and understaffed. The kids that work in the appliance department and electronics know nothing about the products which they represent. Even if you go there and want to buy something, good luck finding a manned register.

I can't find this kit anywhere in PA.

it's Sears Auto... not the Sears store.  Their auto is usually another building close by.

Guess I need acting lesson from ArtieLange

You know I could really taken advantage of them.  The thing mark $60.  If I said I don't have my receipt and paid cash, even if they charge me 15% restocking fee.
So I paid $32 pretending I paid $60 like their marked price (they mark every box with $59.99 price sticker).

15% of $60 is $9... they would have to refund me $51.
