Between the 3 models, the q200e at bestbuy, the s200e, and the X202 at Amazon this is the middle.
q200e - 1.4 ghz processor, intel hd 3000 graphics, No BT s200e - 1.8 ghz processor, intel HD 4000 graphics, No BT X202 - 1.8 ghz processor, intel HD 4000 graphics, Bluetooth
I will say, this is the lowest price I've seen for the 1.8 ghtz model. Best Buy has had the 1.4 model for $450 and I think once it was $400. I've seen the x202 for $510 from Adorama.
I've also read that the wireless adapter and hard drive are easy to replace. so you could add a more powerful wifi/BT adapter and an SSD as long as it's 7 mm.
I bought my sister the q200 and they love it. I'ver been eying this. Probably going to get it now. For day to day stuff this is a great little notebook. hard to beat for 400. The only major drawback is that it's got a weak battery. You'll probably just get 4 hours with it. I would prefer 6-8 or so.

How long will this deal be available and has anyone actually gone to see this unit in-store? If they have them on display I think I might just run down there ...

I did a clean install - too much Asus crap installed that I didn't want. I do have an Apricorn cloning kit that I could have used, but preferred a fresh setup.
Do keep in mind that you'll need a 7mm drive to fit inside, the usual 9mm drive is too high.

Thanks ...
just picked m ine up at local Staples, none on display, but he did have one opened to show someone i guess, great build quality, real sharp looking, best notebook price for a touchscreen this year, only reason i would purchase windows 8 is for touchscreen, many issues using 8 as an upgrade option on my other pcs, offer good thru today only
Great price on a touchscreen laptop. It doesn't have TurboBoost technology so the description on the product page is inaccurate. TurboBoost is only available on i5 and i7 processors. It does have HyperThreading, though. Tempted.

I had one. Sold it. Paid 429.99 sold it for 440 after 1 months use. It did perform well but now that I have an SSD laying around I am sure it will scream. I will say I barely used touch though. When I did, I found it to be fluid and smooth. I just used it for spreadsheets, word, web, Skype, and NHL GameCenter.

I was at Staples looking at it this morning. It's laggy, it needs an SSD real bad, but there goes the great price.
I reserve one at my local Staples. Picked it up 2hrs later. $438 and some change out the door. I just played with it for about 30mins.
1. just the look and feel of the book is nice. slick, portable, thin. 2. doesn't feel laggy at all. Maybe I am not doing that much stuff with it. 3. the touch feature seems pretty flawless. No issue yet. 4. I install VLC player, and loaded a 1080p movie. Runs fine, no skips. 5. Battery life, I think it's around the 3hr range.
I'll test it later with Photoshop, etc. later to see if can keep up. I really don't want to spend another $100-200 for an SSD. The reason why I got this is because it was low $400s.
