That's slightly more than Amazon when shipping is included but still an excellent deal.
my hunch is......
the price of these "generic" ones will continue to drop as this J470 model becomes more and more popular (newer model, replaced the J430 which used the LC75 inks).
With that said, I wouldn't buy more than 6 months supply at a time as you could easily see these drop to the $2.50-3 per cart range in a few months and then who knows, down to a $1ea like the other models in a year or two.
Again, just a hunch based on past history with Brother generic inks which have indeed come down significantly in price as the competition increased.
I just bought the MFC-825 from OfficeMax because it uses the older 75 series Carts without the chips. I paid about $100 for it 2 weeks ago. Yes its $50 more but with the generic carts at $7 vs $50 a box I'll be about even after the first round of carts.
I am a fan of the Brother AIO and the cheap ink. We have one at work and even the Brother Brand ink is not too expensive
LC103 is the high yield version of the LC101. There are also a LC105 and a LC107 that are "super high yield" but I don't believe they are compatible with all these new Brother chipped machines. They seem to be for the higher end ones from what I can tell right now.

As long as you get that message when adding a five digit code to a cart online it will work in the store. This was for code 10037. Tomorrow it will say expired when adding it to a cart online.
