$3 off... How is that a deal?

rated:
Sears, Office Depot, and Newegg are all selling for way above that price.

Someone's cranky pants are fitting a bit snug.

good deal, but mouse is optical, not laser

In for one (reluctantly).  These low end Logitech keyboards don't have CAPS lock on/off LED indicator.  This causes keying wrong passwords.

Apparently it causes double posts as well

Technically its not the indicator that causes that.  It might contribute to the problem, but definitely doesn't *cause* it.

There is no wireless keyboard that has LEDs... they would drain the battery.

Anyway, are there people who don't disable caps lock?

Actually, the Logitech K800 has automatic backlighting + indicator LEDs for CAPS and battery level. It's the wireless version of the K740.

I'm using one right now to type this, awesome keyboard. Best I've ever used. It's like a hybrid between a laptop keyboard and a traditional desktop set. Needs recharging via USB about every 2-3 weeks. Uses rechargeable (and replaceable) AAs. It's normally $80, but you can catch deals on Newegg or Staples where it goes as low as $40 or $50 (I got mine for $40 about a year ago).

But back on topic, my parents' computer has been needing a new KB&M set. This is perfect. Thanks OP!

Is this a full-size or miniature mouse?

I think the mouse is smaller than full-sized. There are some reviews on Amazon that talk about how it is small but I could not find exact dimensions.

I bought two of them, of the one I opened, the mouse IS laser.
