anyplace said: Worst paper towel ever. I have wondered several times how these compare to other paper towels. We used to use the regular bounty towels but some time ago I got a great deal from Staple son Brawny towels. I am just about out and looking for another deal. I don't need any under preformers, I have several cases of Sparkle that I don't use.
I didn't care for the Basic paper towels either. We initially did like the Basic toilet paper, but they changed the product and decreased the quality, so we stopped buying it as well. I think the idea was they made them "too good" early on, and you didn't need to buy the more expensive brand. I now consider it about equal to lower quality store brands.

I feel like the quality went down substantially on both basic paper towels and tp.
Everyone is now complaining about these paper towel. I use mine for hand drying, holding cookies and maybe a slice of cake or a sandwich. I leave the scrubbing for an actual scrubber, mopping for a mop, cleaning for cloth and wiping for toilet paper when I'm taking a poop.
