Duracell does not sell a LSD AA with 2450 mAh capacity. The only product with that capability now is the Eneloop XX at 3x the price per cell.
Claiming that it stores charge for a year is only half the story. How much charge does it have after a year, 10% ?
I know for a fact that the energizer 2450's (now 2300?) are LSD. I didn't have much luck with older 2500mah batteries as they did not last beyond 300 charges in a 15 minute charger (w/o the blink of death error). The mah rating is lowered from 2500+ to 2000 - 2450 to accommodate LSD properties, so while possible.. understand if you use these in a rapid charger you will see drastically lowered charge lifespans (from 1000 - 1500 to 300 - 500, ymmv).
I can indeed verify that these are NOT LSD batteries. I took a chance and bought these hoping that they were LSD. When they arrived I was very disappointed to the see the green (not white)tops that Eneloops are famous for. And there was no where on the packaging that mentioned or claimed LSD like features.
These are just regular type rechargeable batteries folks. I returned mine already based on the false claim which implied LSD type batteries, "... retain power for 365 days when not in use."
