Powerline Ethernet will cost more. It needs at least a pair of devices.  The variety and complexity of home wiring also add a lot of unknown facts to the operation.

Right. I wish it were powerline because part of my house is not covered by wifi but has no problem connecting with powerline...

  Then add a wireless router to the powerline  or bridge the 2 wireless  to cover the home
