  Good call!  Despite their size they are easily misplaced when leaving the case open for more than a short time, not that that has happened to me or anything.

  It definitely would, however now they make drives which would be much more suited to that application. This drive is not really a deal right now but its only a bit more expensive and would be a better bet if you are trying to run a lot of cameras.  If you are running one of those 4 camera setups then don't even worry about it.
