  This is typically as low as they get unless you luck into some clearance. I would recommend spending ~$110 to get a larger size. Not only is the extra space worth it, but the quality in general is superior to these rinky-dink toys.

thanks, my biggest concern is energy usage, are the larger ones usually any more efficient? I would imagine smaller is better for that; i just want to keep a few bottles of water upstairs, maybe some beers

Depends on individual models, but yes, the larger ones are more energy efficient if for no other reason than their capacity and the way it's utilized.
