I believe that is the case. According to the Seiki product page, 4K resolution can only support up to 30Hz. The 120Hz is for 1080p only. So HDMI 1.4b is there but not the HDMI 2.0. Great price though for 4K TV.

From what I read on the Amazon reviews, that is correct. It does not support HDMI 2.0 which would allow full 60Hz 4K video. That would probably be a dealbreaker for a lot of people.

Deal breaker for me. Otherwise I'd be on this like white on rice.

Without the higher Hz via a newer HDMI, you have cocktail TV talk to impress your friends who don't know any better. For me it's a self-satisfaction and then when others ask me how did you get the TV picture that perfect, then I know I did something. I bought the best model sedan versus my relatives car, didn't say a word about it for months & he finally notices it this weekend, he's like Holy crap when did you get this ?? That's the time for self-gratification, saying that this TV would frustrate me to no end. Good luck to all who can trick everyone but themselves when buying this, details details.

What frame rate will most 4K Sources be in during the next 3 years?
It will probably take a few years before we will see a 4K Blu-ray disc at 48 FPS?
So maybe you move this in to the bedroom then and get 70" hdmi2.0 down the road?

The three features that are vital for viewing forthcoming 4K content from Netflix, Blu-ray, Satellite/Cable and elsewhere are HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2 and HEVC.
Just a FYI.

Folks....this television is suck.

If its a smart TV, it should have the NF app, thus bypassing the need for hdmi 2.0

Most of today's 4k tvs may be obsolete by the time 4k broadcast comes realtime, but then even 4k may be obsolete as they are already experimenting with 8k

Life is short, get it for today and enjoy it.

Just like beta did to VHS, boy were those beta movies easy to find after a while.

I'd buy this TV if it could do a quad split using 3 HDMIs and a 4th source.
Anyone know of a 4K display that can do that?

OK, so a 4K monitor is amazing, the price is right, and it works with my Retina MacBookPro (MPB), but: The stand is not adjustable and won't tilt back. Need to prop up the front with a book.

Can you see the difference ?

Yes, the bottom box bounce much much slower.  I would hate to watch a 2hr action movie on that 60 FPS, it would take 4hrs to watch cause everything slow down.

Are there any GPU's with HDMI 2.0 or 4K TV's with Display Port Inputs ? It seems nearly impossible to get 60 Hz refresh rate on a PC/4K TV setup.
