After abandoning a career in graphic production to go back to school and become a PC and network technician, I joined FatWallet as an overnight moderator in the beginning of 2008. Finding myself working for a great company but having little use for my technical abilities, I decided to put my research and writing skills to work as a deal writer when the Best Deals section was launched in 2009. While I do have a distinct descriptive style and technique, I must take responsibility for sharing more than my fair share of novelties that cost almost nothing and require no description.
