There are 42 days until Black Friday 2011 and we’re counting them down with money saving and holiday shopping tips.
Why mess with the paper clutter of the weekly newspaper when you can get the news on your phone, computer and kindle instead? Because it’s a great way to save money during the holidays!
Did you know the average value of a single coupon in the newspaper is $1.46? I don’t know what the paper near you costs, but newspapers everywhere are offering great rates to boost subscriptions. For instance, the Chicago Tribune is currently offering Sunday only subscriptions for $1.00 which includes over $150 in money-saving coupons.
Hmmm…even if you don’t go coupon crazy, during the holidays with the all the entertaining and gifts you’ll be buying you’ll easily find enough coupons to exceed the cost of your subscription.
So that’s today’s tip. Subscribe to the newspaper to stock up on the restaurant, toy, grocery, and drug store coupons you can combine with Black Friday discounts to save you even more money!
