Black Friday Tip 6: Retail Reconnaissance

November 19, 2011 | Posted By: Heather Stephens | Categorized in: Shopping
There are 6 days until Black Friday 2011 and we're counting them down with money saving and holiday shopping tips.

Today's Tip:

Retail Reconnaissance

Carve out some time in your schedule this week on Tuesday or Wednesday, to visit the stores you plan to shop at on Black Friday and locate the items you will be buying. That way you don't end up wasting time or missing out on a great deal because you can't find what want on the shelves.

There's no guarantee that the store won't move it between your pre-shopping trip and Black Friday. The big ticket doorbuster items are often moved to end caps and aisles to draw attention, but the majority of the items in the store will stay put. :)

A pre-shopping trip is a good thing to do even if you plan to stay home and shop online on Black Friday because it gives you an opportunity to see the items you plan to buy in person, so you truly know what you're getting when you order them online!

Happy shopping!
