Starbucks: Free Tall Hazelnut or Caramel Macchiato thru 3/31

You're probably wondering, Did I read that right? Yes, Yes you did! This deal was shared by the turtlebug on the Fatwallet Restaurants & Entertainment Deals Forum Page.

Now through March 31, 2013 Starbucks customers can Indulge in a Free Tall Hazelnut or Caramel Macchiato with flyer.

YMMV (Your mileage may vary and not all stores are participating.) I tried it and was successful. Check your local Starbucks to see if they are participating. According to the forum thread, it sounds like many Starbucks locations have a stack of flyers behind the counter they're passing out.

Here is the link to the Starbucks flyer to this sweet deal!

I'm sorry that you did not have any luck. :( But, I was able to use it just yesterday in Belvidere, Il. In the forum post there has been quite a bit of discussion over this, but most seem to have had luck with it.

NO STORE SHOULD BE ACCEPTING THIS. This version of the coupon was handed out in-store. There is an online version of a coupon but it is an eGift card that was sent out by Starbucks to MyStarbucks Reward card holders. Don't be surprised if no one will take this coupon. ONLY coupons handed out by baristas or sent out by the Company will be accepted if stores follow company policies like they should be. Don't be surprised if a store says no to this coupon since it is a scan of the coupon that was handed out in stores.

Fail, not what we call a "printable" coupon. It's a scan of a coupon which you can print out and have a chance of it not being rejected.

I have had luck with this printout/scan of a coupon at two different Starbucks. So it is worth a try if you live pretty close to one. The guy at the Belvidere store also told me that if you do not have the coupon, they will give you a "short" Hazelnut or Caramel Macchiato, as a sample because these are new drinks.

My stores in Frankfort, KY have been accepting them. They even allow extra shots! Awesome. I try to go back and forth between stores to not make it too obvious. Starbucks kiosk in Krogers did not have the ability to process the coupon. Looking forward to many more before the end of the month!

Corporate Starbucks stores accept this coupon.

Franchise stores do not as they are not participating in this promotion.

I used one earlier this evening at a Corporate Starbucks and received my FREE tall hazelnut macchiato at zero cost -- I thought I might have to pay local sales tax, but, they never asked for it.

The Corporate Stores are promoting this new beverage and the coupon is good until 3/31.

One coupon per person per visit = FREE tall macchiato in hazelnut or caramel.

This coupon should not be accepted an any corporate Starbucks. Some may choose to accept it, so yes, you may get lucky. But Corporate Starbucks has been notifying all stores to NOT accept printout coupons. Sorry :/
