Shaking it up at FatWallet: Our Own Harlem Shake Videos!

March 22, 2013 | Posted By: Ann McKenna | Categorized in: FatWallet

If you haven't heard of the Harlem Shake by now, then you must be living under a rock. We've seen countless numbers of people dancing their way through our Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus feeds for a while now.

Love it or hate it, we know the Harlem Shake fad has faded, but we still wanted to have some fun with it, even if it meant we were beating a dead horse...literally?

Okay, so the truth is that we really thought it would be fun to have this mask to horse around with here at FatWallet HQ, and a Harlem Shake video was our ticket to getting the expense approved.

Introduced in the early 1980's, the Harlem Shake dance move exploded in the streets of New York and started showing up periodically in music videos. We took 5-10 minutes out of our Friday afternoon last week to be goof balls. Wetsuits, helmets, Santa hats, pimp shades, and yes - a horse mask were all proudly worn to get us in the mood. We hope you enjoy!
