October is a month that we often think of fall leaves, apple cider, and Halloween, but it is also a month devoted to supporting Breast Cancer awareness and prevention. This year, Kohl’s is offering athletic merchandise for sale with 100% of the net profit going to support the fight against breast cancer.
Within the collection you will find fun pink (and black, gray, and white) running shorts, cropped leggings, printed tees and tanks, fleeces, baseball caps, sports bras and headbands. They also have plus sizes in the leggings, tees, and fleeces. My favorite designs out of the 8 that they have are the “Magenta Swirl” in the tees and the “Magenta Heart” from the tanks. I must just be attracted to that magenta color. What’s also nice is that the tees/tanks match the running shorts.
Oh! And I almost forgot the best part… All items are $5, $10, or $15 each! Shipping and tax will vary on your location, but shipping for me was only $5.95 and tax was $0.96. You can find this collection in select Kohl’s Wisconsin stores or through their online Kohl’s Cares page.
Tek Gear Micro Fleece V-Neck Review
I was excited when I heard that I was able to review the Tek Gear Micro Fleece that Kohl’s was sending over. Out of the 3 colors that they offer I received the magenta color, which was the one I preferred(see me in above picture). The fleece is super soft and I was surprised that it was only $10!
The fleece was fitted, but not too snug which I like because you can wear something underneath it without it being too tight. I love how the sleeves were longer than most and came to just above my knuckles. It helps to keep my hands warm in this freezing office!
In this picture, I am wearing a white shirt underneath it. And when I took the fleece off, not one piece of pink was found piled off onto my shirt. I haven’t yet washed it, but I will update after that has happened. Seems like a good quality fleece to me!
Happy Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Wear Pink!
