(Updated 5/2014)

Teachers are hard at work and we want to make sure you’re saving on your school shopping with teacher discounts!

Many school districts are cutting costs due to budget constraints, and are not providing the classrooms with proper materials. Then you add that to the plethora of kids across the country coming to school missing basic supplies, and it creates a tough environment for teachers. Teachers above all else want to see these students succeed, and are buying those supplies with their own money.

  • 99.5 % of teachers are buying their own supplies for their classrooms.
  • On average teachers spend around $500, with 10% saying they spend $1000 or more year on school supplies.
  • Teachers spend over a billion dollars of their own money on class room supplies each year.

Stores understand the pinch that teachers are in, and understand over 80% are loyal to brands that offer teachers discounts. What do they offer teacher discounts on?

  • Clothing
  • Books
  • School supplies
  • Software
  • Computers, Laptops, and Tablets
  • Travel
