Top Holiday Gift Deals: December 5, 2011 There are 18 more shopping days until Christmas and I'm back with more "Hot Deals of the Day on FatWallet," to help you get more of your shopping done in less time with bigger savings!Today we have some fun deals and gift ideas for the home, the kids, TV's a home entertainment system! I know there are a few things I'm definitely going to get before they're gone. I just wish that my job of telling you about all these great deals and sorting through the deals our expert deal hunter Kim finds, didn't lead to ME buying more things. :) Because these deals are HOT, they could be gone by the time you read this post. So, if the price you see on the retailer's website is higher than what is listed in this post, it means the deal is done...for now. I can only imagine the fun family nights you'll have watching your favorite shows and movies on a new TV and home theater system! Maybe you'll have to bring out some oldies but goodies for the kids and let them laugh at what life was like when you were a kid? Goonies anyone?
 We've got quite the age span covered in today's kid's deals. Get those school age kids to bed at night with a galaxy of stars to start them dreaming and then get them out of bed in the morning with a little help from their Lego friend alarm clock. And the little ones will love snuggling up for the night with these Sesame Street Plush toys.
 Video games have never been hotter, and there are games for the whole family to enjoy (as well as a few for the bigger kids you don't know what to get!) Family game night sounds like a hit for our family...in fact I'm going to go order it now before they run out!
 And finally we hit the home and garden category with lots of goodies to simplify your life. You should pick up one of the power strips with a timer so you can stop all those phone chargers from zapping your electric bill when you're gone for the day! Oh, maybe you should get one for the Christmas lights too! Don't forget that pop corn popper (the kids will have so much fun with it on family movie night) and the vacuum to clean up the mess. :)
