I usually fly from mid-west to New York City and back. And through this tool, I can search for all flights from airports in my region to airports in east coast region. Typically I would configure 50-60 routes in minutes and search them all in just one click. This tool then later filters all results for all flights going via NYC airports.
I usually see flights to smaller destinations to be at least $50-$60 cheap. I can always purchase those flights and get down in NYC, if I don't have check-in luggage.
I perhaps can't do it over and over again, but wouldn't it be a good option for occasional fliers or students looking to save some money?
It doesn't just saves money, but also time as you board a direct flight to your destination.
