If you buy a Moto X through Motomaker, you can enter promo code "MBXISMOT" to get a discount of $100 off the $16GB model, making the price $299, or $125 off the 32 or 64 GB models, so $324 or $374 respectively. The code expires on July 23. If you want a wood back, that will add $25 to the price of the phone. The discount does not seem to apply for subsidized phones.

Currently, it appears if you order the wood back with 64GB of storage, it brings the price down to $299, though I'm guessing this is just a mistake in Motorola's ordering system.

  Order from who?

Sorry for not including the link to Motomaker (Motorola's website). I'll edit the OP.

Got an 8.8/10 from Engadget. I love the customizing that comes with this phone. So many options to make it unique.

price after code is $299 for me on the 16gb.

...which is $100 off of the price.  Title is a bit misleading in its wording, though not deliberate.

Looks like it will work on Republic Wireless.

It looks like a poster on XDA has a thread on how to flash the Sprint Moto X to Page Plus but it appears not to be possible for the Verizon model.

The code does work on the Republic Wireless model, though since the Republic Wireless model is already discounted by $50, the coupon code only gives another $50 off, making the price the same as the others at $299.

Actually, I'd say it is Motorola being misleading. The non-discounted price for the Moto X is $399; though they offer the Republic Wireless version of the phone with a permanent $50 discount. While building the Moto X, however, they show the Republic Wireless price until you go to check out and select the carrier version you want. In any case, I've updated the OP with the price for the phone after the $100 discount; I hope that makes things clearer for people.

Look like the pricing glitch on the 64GB wood back has been fixed. Too bad

64gb for $400 including tax. pretty sweet deal. not gonna find 64gb at that price elsewhere.

I have the 32g Moto X from their recent upgrade/memory campaign on Republicordered directly from MotoMaker, and I would compare it to having the full functionality of my HighSense Android Tablet with the ability to make calls.

No complaints if that's what you are looking for in a phone. The only thing that needs tweaking in the voicemail notification feature. It seems to leave me notice that I received a voicemail when there is a missed call regardless of an actual new voicemail left by the missed caller.

That's an issue with your carrier / config-- not the phone.

You must have it flashed to get the phone to work on PagePlus.  It might be worth waiting until PagePlus get 4g lte from Verizon.

Would this work with Freedompop?

I haven't found an answer for that. My guess is no but you'll likely have to contact Freedompop to ask.

Nice phone. So, the gsm unlocked model will work on either AT&T or T-Mobile???? Hmmm. Nice get it now for T-Mobile and then switch to Cricket(an AT&T company).

rated:
Yes, the unlocked version will work on AT&T or T-Mobile -- you can get it either with a T-Mobile or Net10 SIM card. The phone is the same (model XT1053), with no carrier bloatware, regardless of which you choose. This would be a great phone for using on Cricket.

There is a new sale, this week, on the phone. The current sale, which no longer provides the promo code, runs through July 31 (or until supplies last). There is a thread about the current sale here.
