I like the Windows 8 phone better right now. Too much of the same old with these Apple devices and definitely inflated in price. I really like the tiled display on Windows 8 mobile and it feels just right in the palm of your hand. Also the screen on the Nokia is very friendly and I read that you can even wear gloves while using it whereas you need special touch screen gloves for the Apple products. Plus try replacing the battery on one, good luck. Nokia 920 seems popular on this forum and the 520 is an absolute steal compared to the iphone. Also all the nokia phones have replacable battery.
I have an iPod touch 5 and I feel that it was overpriced. At least it has high resale value but I like to keep various gadgets. The retina display is very nice too.
A lot of people are moving on to other devices now. It looks like the Apple fad is nearing the end of its cycle. I am certain that iPhone 6 will sell out as they all do but it will just be another device in the mix outside.
