Great phone! I have one and could not be happier. I can run Android apps without having to succumb to the built-in Google spyware contained within the Android operating system.

You can run Android apps on this thing? I can't even get it to integrate with Gmail properly!

Don't forget to post it on your geocities site too...

Lol no.

I agree, great phone! Coming from an S3 I'm not looking back. Very easy hack and almost all Android apps install with ease. Only thing I haven't figured out is getting Google Drive to work natively, but there's a 3rd party app that takes care of the immediate need.

lol people on this forum are funny they spend 300 plus on a phone then try to get it to work nice with android lol..

Good phone!

I use the Amazon App store to download Android apps.  Uber is the only app I'd like to use that I'm not able to figure out.

The User Interface and keyboard entry makes android look like Windows 3.11. Why not get the best of both?

rated:
heh if it is suppose to be the best of both world.. why is the phone facing extinction?? the real window 3.11 here is the black berry lol.. u got it all mixed up.. at the 300 price range i would deft buy the Sony phone http://www.fatwallet.com/cell-phone-deals/16gb-sony-xperia-z-ult...

what a useless peace of device this is...

man, they are still alive!

I can tell the people in this thread leaving negative remarks have not used this phone nor have they used any BlackBerry 10 device. For some reason, and I don't get it, everyone compares the latest iPhone or Android flagship to the BlackBerry they had 5 years ago and use that as their basis for bashing the company. These phones are nothing like your BlackBerry Curve you had years ago. They are every bit as fast, fluid, and capable as any competing device on the market.

guardianx: Take a look at the NSA leaks, notice how BlackBerry is not included in the list of devices the NSA has essentially open-door access to? Privacy and security still matter to some people. As for your other comments, see my statement above. It applies directly to ignorant people like you.

ecoartemkv: Could you please explain exactly why you think this phone is useless?

rated:
The BlackBerry still remains the best corporate gadget in my opinion. I have used one since 2003 and having tried various Android phones + an iPhone, went back to the BlackBerry.

Although I own a LG G3 at the moment there is no doubt that BB10 is the most underrated and far superior OS..mulitasking, notifications, email, browser and keyboard are the best in class...android compatibility is just the icing on the cake. There are some gem of native apps in the app world.

rated:
man, there is something called trend... you can not do anything to it ....

rated:
The black berry is not on the nsa list is because they have .0001 percent market share maybe ? The gov can spyware everything..

Also, RIM is based out of Canada, so I think that's out of NSA's jurisdiction.
