Solution to your problem , get squaretrade, besides aren't most electronics made in China today anyways. I'm only holding back cause the wife won't let me buy another tv.

Yesterday (July 29, 2014) Newegg had this TV as a Shell Shocker combo, including the TV itself + six (6) Coboc 6-foot HDMI cables, for $399.99 - $40 TV MIR (so $359.99 AR).Here's the Google Cache of yesterday's deal.  The eBay offer is more attractive in that no MIRs are involved, but yesterday's deal included six (6) HDMI cables (which at this point is irrelevant since the Shell Shocker deal is over).

not a good brand, must be a Chinese brand

I've said it before, but I'll say it again for anyone on the fence about Changhong - I've been happy with mine. Got the 50" with the HDMI cable bundle for $399.99 in January. It works fine so far.

I think Changhong is a big seller in China and Australia, just not so popular in the US yet. I heard they make their own panels, for what that is worth.
