For $50 more you get a camera? I wonder how good it works.

these are good but the parts on them fail, and they have an issue with something called a FLYAWAY where the unit flys away and goes haywire, be very careful, i lost my GOPRO and the company DJI told me to .. climb a tree... they didnt want to help me... i would NOT Recommend these for anyone.

I believe it's more than just the camera.  I believe it's a newer version than the one OP put on here and also comes with the Naza-M V2 flight control system instead of the Naza-M.  So, a little more I guess.

Details on the camera is below.  It's detachable...lol.  Selfie Time

Detachable 720p FPV Camera

A 720p first-person view camera comes with the FC40 and features a wide-angle, 100° field of view lens. It uses a thumbscrew attachment similar to a GoPro mount that allows the camera to be manually tilted up or down before flight. Using a smartphone mounted to the transmitter you can monitor as well as record a low-latency, live video feed from the camera at WQVGA resolution (400 x 240 pixels) using the free FC40 app for iOS and Android. In addition, the camera features a MicroSD slot allowing you to record video internally using cards up to 32GB. A dedicated 2.4GHz transmitter in the quadcopter provides the wireless link, and features a line-of-sight range of up to 328', depending on conditions

This one comes with the camera and uses 5.8GHz for the RC Transmitter/Receiver (important feature if you want to use the Wifi from a GoPro).

My parents found one of these a couple years ago. I reached out to the company to see if they could track down the owner and they were of no help. Its still sitting in their house, GoPro and all. If anyone buys one of these things I'd recommend writing your contact info on it somewhere.

I don't think its a Hot Deal a Phantom 1 drone for that price. I have the FC40 which comes with a FPV camera, and paid $499 over six months ago.
They are very reliable, I had over 50 flights without problems and flyaways are in many cases for not calibrating the compass or not obtaining enough satellite signals for the GPS to home in. I updated mine with a camera stabilizer gimbal and a gopro3+ camera, the combined added weight reduced my flight time (with the FC40 its about 12 minutes).
There is also a Phantom 2 model but it costs almost twice. There should be a newer model coming soon, I would wait longer and see how the prices drop on the older models.

I too have the fc40 and the camera works just fine for me. It's important to note these are not "toys" and fly aways are 99% user error. Once you read the manual and learn how to use these they are the most fun you will have with a quadracopter.

rated:
A couple of differences between the one shown here and the FC40. First the FC40 runs on a 5.8 ghz transmitter and the one shown is on 2.4 ghz. If you want to use the wifi feature of a Go Pro the 5.8 ghz is what you will want. The FC40 camera is okay. Nothing great. I have had the FC40 version which I used with a GoPro. If you want it to fly around and take an occasional video or picture they are great. If you really want to get into aerial video step up to the DJI Phantom 2 or Vision 2+. You will want the gimbal version for stable video. As mentioned, these are not toys and they can be dangerous if you act like an idiot with them.

I'm going to get one and I have my eye on the Phantom 2 Vision Plus but it's about $1200. If anyone has a deal on it, let me know.

If I'm not mistaken it's been this price at Amazon for a long time. I've had it on my with list shortly after I missed it selling for $380...

Does anyone remember that price point?  It was months ago.
