I had it - it was a great phone. I would still have it except for one issue - it would blue screen of death. I think it was a thermal issue with the design of the phone, and it seems wide spread. No matter what software was installed - occasionally it would crash at unpredictable times. Even when you weren't using the phone (pull phone out of pocket - nothing but blue crash screen). It got frustrated since I would miss calls and what not.
It happened once every 2 weeks or so. So bearable.

Depends on what you want. Moto G will have newer Android updates via Google (especially Google Play Edition).
Optimus G has better hardware.
Personally I crave Android updates and hate hacking my own phone. I would go with Moto G, but I could see many not caring about KitKat and going for this instead. If you're on AT&T and want LTE, go with this one.
Decent deal for the price. Better hardware than Nexus 4 and HTC One S, both were on sale for about the same price just 3-4 months ago. One minor downside though is the downgraded camera (from 13M to 8M) compare to the international version of Optimus G.
Attention guys ! i bought one at 199.99. its brand new and unlocked . already been using it for 2 days, great phone indeed. when i bought it, it said in the ad that 16GB microsd card was included. but it wasnt included. i would suggest everyone check theirs and open case if needed.
i opened a case on friday. seller havent responsed yet. ill keep yall posted
Same here. I received the phone without the memory card which was a part of the original listing and then later the listing was edited. The seller has agreed to refund my money but I will have to pay return shipping. I am going to take this up with eBay! Please post your experience here. This seller is deceitful! Never buy from him again.
i had been messaging him in the eBay open case. he denies anything about the SD card. the worse part is the company Breed, they have the same phone on Amazon for 185.99 prime free 2 day shipping. makes no sense to me. and im going to demand a $20 partial refund to buy a reputable brand 16gb card. i see what eBay decides when i escalate the case.
I called up eBay and they were very helpful. The seller denied about having any information in his listing indicating that a mem card was included. Luckily I had a copy of the add (I took this at the time of purchase just as a safety measure after reading his feedback) and he had to admit that he made a mistake while listing the product and that the add was later edited. I explained everything to the eBay service rep and she even agreed to send me a free return shipping label. This was not my fault so there was no reason for me to pay return shipping. I would suggest to call the folks over at eBay and explain your situation to them and do leave feedback for the seller.
