This TV doesn't get rave reviews for it's picture quality.  Also anything over whatever that particular media was recorded is...would be "fake."

The image quality problems (see comments in Amazon listing for this same product) centre around the 'soap opera look' you get with 120FPS and 240FPS refresh rates. If you want 'The Godfather' to look rich in tone as in the movie theatre, instead of super-contrast-y like daytime soaps, the hyper-turbo refresh rate has to be dialed down (or off). On most TVs you can turn off this feature, but not sure it can be turned off in this TV. The user manual doesn't seem to be available on the Seiki website.

So this TV is a gamble. Can you turn off the 240FPS refresh feature? If not, will Seiki provide a future firmware update which will permit disabling the feature? Or did some sharp designer at Seiki make an incredible blunder, rendering this model TV -- the flagship of Seiki's 1080P product line -- a sour-tasting lemon?
