My first set took awhile.  3 weeks?

then other sets came within 3-5 business days

Rip Off report..........

yeah.....caveat emptor (let the buyer beware) on anything you buy.  Hell, even Amazon.com has numerous complaints on ripoff report.

I just know that for me and my iphone 5...it works.  And its cheap.

In for 1 white pack. FYI, checkout showed a tax, which went away by the final step.

Can someone recommend a usb car charger head that will work with these?

rated:
Thanks, picked up 2 packs! Gotta keep one in my office, one at my home desk plugged into my PC, two in my car, one in my backpack, and a spare! Can never be without a charge lol

Thanks OP! In for one of each the white and black 3-pack lightning cables and also an order for the 2-pack 10 feet cables here for $6.99.

just lost mine in a hotel room and needed one. thanks op!

I ordered the white one hoping it will work with my 5..

Thanks OP

In for 1 in white

I can't attest to the white ones. Sorry, should have chimed in earlier.

I have used the black and it works great. However, I don't think the white ones and black ones are made by the same company.

There looks to be 2 different types on the website. Both same price for 3 and one says specifically it works with iPhone 5s/5c and ios7. We'll see if they work. For $6 if they don't I have had good luck with PalPal refunding money.

Ordered a set on October 2nd and haven't received any updates yet.

FYI and a warning.

A similar cheap knockoff cable caused my iPhone 5 port to only accept the plug one way. So it's 50% less great after that cheap cable.

If I plug (a genuine cable) in the wrong way, it won't charge. I have to pull it out and rotate it around for it to work.

First world problem, sure, but it's very annoying and was 100% caused by the $8 Boxwave cable from a few months back.

Buyer beware.

The only problem I have is that these don't seem to charge as fast as oem cables.  2 phones connected....one to OEM cable connected to the wall, the other no this cable connected to the computer.  Both phones had 84% battery.  After a few minutes of charging, the OEM cabled phone has 91% and the non-OEM cable has 88%.

Still, not bad paying $2.00 versus $19.99.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Itech

I would say that test really does not really show any difference.  Phone power meters are not that accurate and may also be based on recent power usage or the strength of the charger it was plugged in to.  3% is nothing.  To really test you could run the phone down until it powers off on its own, then time the recharge back to 100%.  Let the same phone discharge again until power off, then switch cables but keep the phone and charger the same.  Compare times to full.

Any, in for a pack.  Thanks!

bobley said:   Why would non-OEM charge at a slower rate? Different gauge cable?
As Goofy4Deals pointed out, the non-OEM cable was connected to a computer USB port, which puts out lower amperage than the wall charger that was used with the OEM cable.

3 feet is not short. That's decent length for a data cable.

Will this thing work for charging an iPad 4?

Finally received my order for 3 of the 3 foot black cables. Plugged one in and it works fine, no error messages. Not sure how long that will last given all it seems to take Apple to disable third-party cables is a system update. The cable is thinner than the original Apple cable or the Amazon Basics cable I have but so far so good.

Forgot to mention that I am using this on an iPhone 5s.

ordered on the 15th and it is still showing "processing"

I ordered on the 2nd of October and just got them a few days back. Give it a few weeks (sucks I know).

On a side note, I ordered a $10 "Certified" cable (supposedly) through my work and it came today and I got the "not certified" pop up on my iPhone 5s. This did NOT happen with these cables.

As previously posted, not sure how aggressive Apple is going to be with locking out cables because right now it really seems like hit or miss, some work some dont.

Ordered 10/14. Claims to be shipped via DHL 10/21. Tracking number doesn't work. Note: this is based on emails, not on tracking the order via their site. I have no idea what that status may say.

Just got my white cables yesterday. They work, but the fit is pretty tight. They work though, so overall, I'm happy.
