Bring kids 8-14 years old. Let them worm through the crowd and grab the loot while you hold a place in the check-out line. It's amazing how well this works.

Most places wont allow you to return these items on black friday for the sale price. also some place dont even sell there big ticket items before bf. And as for the gentlemen shining his boots good luck with getting arrested most places dont take anyones shit on black friday anymore

Thats how my mom got me started like 15 years ago and I was able to crawl under carts when people where blocking isles at WalMart.

Oh for PM on BF the only store I know of is WalMart, it has to be exact items and between the sale hours. I do this with all DVDs, Video Games and some small electronics but make sure you grab the one as pictured cause I got in a fight with the store manager since I grab a wide screen and it was supposed to be full screen. Toys R Us will match but only stuff that is on a 2 day sale not the early hour sales. Also Target if they are out of the item see about getting a rain check usually they give them out unless it states 'one time buy'.

Oh btw does anyone know if JC Penny's is doing the free disney snowglobes this year? I just haven't seen anything mentioned anywhere.

I want one the Sony S350 Blu-Ray players Kmart and Sears have for $180 on BF. I'm thinking about going in on Wednesday and putting one in my cart and then making my way to the sporting goods department where I will hide it behind some golf sets (nobody's buying golf clubs this time of year). Then I'll show up on BF and try my luck.

Anybody used this technique in the past?

Usually items like that they don't put out or realease them until BF sale starts if the store closes the night before. but if your Kmart is a 24hr super center try your luck at midnight cause atleast the store by me usually puts the stuff out where you can get it and hid it. I have even been able to buy some of the BF sales at midnight at Kmart.

Copy the contents of your wallet in case it gets lost or stolen.

BlackFriday.info sent me this:

"As we enter Black Friday Week, we wanted to send you an email alert to give you a timeline of what you can expect on the site. First, retailers appear to be starting their Black Friday sales earlier than ever this year. They are even putting some of their Black Friday items online for you to purchase right now at the Black Friday sale prices. We can tell in real-time which items are available to purchase online and will be updating the following URL with all of the Black Friday deals:

http://www.blackfriday.info/online/

Then, starting late Wednesday night and into Thanksgiving morning, some of the biggest retailers like Toys R Us, Circuit City, and Best Buy, will be starting their full Black Friday sale. At this point, almost all of their Black Friday deals will go live and be available for purchase online. We expect the sales to start around 1:00am Eastern time on Thanksgiving morning. For the stores that don't put their ad items online Thursday morning (Thanksgiving), they will pretty much all put their items online late Thursday afternoon or early Black Friday morning. We have been told by Wal-Mart to expect their Black Friday items to be available to purchase online at 1:00am Eastern time on Black Friday.

If you go to the stores on Black Friday and find that an item you were looking for is sold out, there might still be a chance to get it. Throughout Black Friday and right through the weekend, many Black Friday items that are sold out in the stores will still be available to purchase online. Just like last year, we will have a real-time tracking system so you can easily see what Black Friday products are available to purchase online. Then, starting on Cyber Monday, we'll be posting a ton of deals from online merchants like Overstock.com, BestBuy.com, and WalMart.com.

This week we expect to receive new information about additional doorbuster items that Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Toys R Us, Staples, and Circuit City will be offering on Black Friday. We will also continue to update our Black Friday online page so you can see all of the Black Friday deals that you can buy online right now without having to wait until Thanksgiving or Black Friday.

To view all of the Black Friday deals that you can order online right now, go to:
http://www.blackfriday.info/online/"

best wishes!
